Matt Longview
1. Has grown up in LA but moved to Anaheim because he doesn't like how fake everyone is in LA.
2. Does still come there because of his music and family still living there
3. Grew up not having many friends because he was the weird fat kid who people always put "kick me" signs on because he was always humming some tune or another.
4. Starting playing guitar because he felt that music was his only friend and he wanted to add music to the words that were always in his head.
5. Went to his first concert when he was 16 much to the dislike of his parents since he sneaked out of his bedroom window but after that night his love for music grew even bigger and he went to concerts whenever he could if his after school job would allow it and he could pay for it.
6. Decided to play at open mike nights to get his music out but after being pelted with just about everything the assholes from his school could get their hands on he gave up.
7. Met Mary Anne back in 2002 and fell head over heels for her. He was even surprised that such a beautiful girl was interested in him.
8. After a year of waiting hoping she'd really wanted to be with him for who he was he sadly found out she was more into using him whenever it was convenient for her.
9. To get rid of the anger and pain she caused him he wrote Mary Anne about her and played it at another open mike night he was at dedicating it to her when he knew she was there.
10. At the mike night met someone who offered him a deal to release his first album and finally in 2004 he released Patience and Science.
11. A small club tour followed but he cut it off when his depression kicked in. Mary Anne had hurt him more then he expected and even though writing his album had helped some he still had a lot to deal with.
12. Went into therapy and still sees his doctor once every two weeks as he feels he doesn't need any more sessions then that.
13. During his depression he wrote a lot, which also helped him deal with it, as to him music was always his best friend who helped him get through everything.
14. In 2007 he started to write for other artists who asked for his help and it wasn't until then he realised that there were people who wouldn't treat him like Mary Anne did. He has been writing his own material as well though he likes to write for others a whole lot more at the moment because it means he can take more distance of it.
15. Still has trouble trusting people but once he does he's a real big teddy bear and will always help when needed.
